I have been the proud principal of Westlawn Elementary since 2020. I fell in love with this community the moment I walked through the front doors! Our community is perfectly unique, beautiful in every way. Before coming to Westlawn I made stops at Washington Mill, Parklawn, and Glen Forest Elementary. Dr. Bryson-Williams joined the Westlawn ES family in February 2021, after moving from Navy Elementary, in Fairfax, Virginia. For over 15 years, she taught several grade levels, as well as college-level courses. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, and other degrees--including her doctorate degree, from Mercer University. Dr. Bryson-Williams enjoys spending time with her extended family, her dog (Bayleigh), and taking hikes.
