I have been the proud principal of Westlawn Elementary since 2020. I fell in love with this community the moment I walked through the front doors! Our community is perfectly unique, beautiful in every way. Before coming to Westlawn I made stops at Washington Mill, Parklawn, and Glen Forest Elementary. It is our continued goal to provide each child every opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. At Westlawn we are individually unique...together, extraordinary.

Dr. Bryson joined the Westlawn ES family in February 2021, after moving from Navy Elementary, in Fairfax, Virginia. For over 15 years, she taught several grade levels, as well as college-level courses. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, and other degrees--including her doctorate degree, from Mercer University. Dr. Bryson enjoys spending time with her extended family, her dog (Bayleigh), and taking hikes.
