Fairfax County is working toward equity in access to technology. In other words, Fairfax County wants to help all families access technology, even if they do not own a computer or have WiFi in their homes.

The Digital Equity and Inclusion page on the Fairfax County website has information about the following opportunities for families:

• Find free WiFi
• Borrow a computer
• Visit Access Fairfax locations (Access Fairfax locations have free computers with WiFi for people to use)
• Take tech classes
• Get low-cost internet service for their home

Additionally, Fairfax County recommends their partner Computer CORE, who offers free tech classes for people looking for new jobs who want to update their technology skills.
