End of Year SMARTR Outcome - MATH
Goal: The percent of students in grades 3-6 achieving proficiency in mathematics as demonstrated on the Standard of Learning (SOL) end of year exams will meet or exceed 80% unadjusted and 92% adjusted Annual Measurable Objective and State Accreditation Projected Goals in 2019-20.
Goal: The percent of students with disabilities in grades 3-6 achieving proficiency in mathematics as demonstrated on the Standard of Learning (SOL) end of year exams will meet or exceed 70% unadjusted and 80% adjusted Annual Measurable Objective and State Accreditation Projected Goals in 2019-20.
Goal: In June 2020, the percent of students in grades 1 and 2 achieving on grade level on the AddVantage Math Recovery Addition and Subtraction assessment will be 70%.
Goal: In June 2020, the percent of students in Kindergarten achieving proficiency in the AddVantage Math Recovery Number Words and Numerals assessment will meet or exceed 70%.
Actions
- Strategy 1: Instructional Delivery: Continue Implementation of a Systematic, Vertical Plan for Mathematics Instruction
- Strategy 2: The school will embed Professional Development for all teachers within weekly Collaborative Learning Team Meetings.
End of Year SMARTR Outcome – LANGUAGE ARTS
Goal: The percent of students in grades 3-6 achieving proficiency in language arts as demonstrated on the Standard of Learning (SOL) end of year exams will meet or exceed 80% unadjusted in 2019-20.
Goal: The percent of students with disabilities in grades 3-6 achieving proficiency in language arts as demonstrated on the Standards of Learning (SOL) end of year exams will meet or exceed 75% (Annual Measurable Objective and State Accreditation Projected Goals) in 2018-2019.
Goal: In June 2020, 100% of students who entered first and second grade on grade level will make grade level benchmark. Of the students who entered below grade level, 100% will make at least one year’s growth as measured by guided reading levels and/or DRA2 assessments.
Goal: By June 2020, 80% of all kindergartners will know all 78 letters and sounds. Students with 52 letters and sounds at the beginning of the year will pass a DRA2 level 3 or 4 by the end of the school year (or 60%).
Actions
- Strategy 1: Reading Instructional Delivery and Assessment: Implement a systematic, vertical plan for the specific elements of the Balanced Literacy Framework and ensure learning with progress monitoring.
- Strategy 2: Writing Instructional Delivery and Assessment: Implement systematic, vertical plan for the specific elements of the Balanced Literacy Framework and opportunities to reflect and share.
End of Year SMARTR Outcome - CARING CULTURE
Goal: The percentage of students who are chronically absent will decrease to 5%.

- Strategy 1: Engage Students in Academics, Social Development, and Wellness to excite them to come to school.
- Strategy 2: Engage Parents in our learning community.
- Strategy 3: Monitor Chronic Absences and Communicate Promptly with those Families.
