SOL Schedule

• Thursday, March 20: Grade 5 Integrated Reading and Writing
• Tuesday, April 29: Grade 5 Science
• Wednesday, May 7: Grades 3-6 Reading
• Wednesday, May 14: Grades 3-6 Math

Providing Consent for Retake Assessments

If your child scores within a certain range on an SOL--close to passing but not quite at the pass cutoff--they will be eligible for a retake assessment. Students who qualify for a retake assessment will receive remediation support from Westlawn staff prior to retaking the assessment, and they need your permission for a retake.

You can provide your consent digitally through the Parent Digital Consent portal. Access to the portal requires you to have a SIS ParentVUE username and password, and step-by-step directions on using the portal are available. Please call our main office at 703-241-5100 to schedule a meeting with a parent liaison if you need to open a SIS ParentVUE account.
