Ms. Muniz is joining the Westlawn team as the SPED teacher supporting third grade students.

Tell us a little more about yourself!

This will be my second year teaching special education. I moved to Virginia from Pennsylvania where I got my bachelor’s in Special Education and my master's in Reading. I absolutely love being an aunt to my 2 year old nephew. I spend time with him every time I go back to Pennsylvania. My boyfriend and I recently adopted a 9 year old Siberian Husky named Misty. She is the sweetest dog and has been a ball of energy since we brought her home. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching TV, and playing games (video, board, and card). My favorite foods include Spanish foods, pizza, and sushi. I am a baseball fan and go to quite a few games in the spring, although my favorite team is the Yankees. I love the fall and all the holiday activities towards the end of the year! I am very excited to meet everyone and start a new year at Westlawn!
