Ms. Samira Schneider is joining the Westlawn team as a fourth grade teacher. If her name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s not new to Westlawn. Last year she was an intern in Ms. Grijalva’s classroom!

What excites you most about joining the Westlawn community?

I am beyond thrilled to return to Westlawn ES after a year of student teaching, as I'm eager to dive back into a familiar and vibrant environment where I already feel at home :) With the valuable experiences and growth I've gained during my internship, I am ready to continue to contribute in such a dynamic community!

When I am not teaching, I enjoy watching spooky films and spending time with my best furry friend, Remy. As a proud George Mason University alum, I carry a deep appreciation for learning :)
