Kara McElveen joined the Westlawn Elementary family as Instructional Coach in July 2020. Before then, she was a special education teacher at Dogwood and Marshall Road Elementary Schools. She's been teaching in Fairfax County for over 20 years. Mrs. McElveen loves spending time with her family and friends, coaching swimming, and relaxing at home.
